About Us
In 2023, Bard College hosted its first ever independent, student-organized TEDx conference with a commitment to the core philosophy of TED: to share "ideas worth spreading." The conference featured 12 compelling talks from students, faculty, and members of the wider Bard College community.
The annual conference will return to Bard's campus in February 2025 at the Fisher Center's LUMA Theater. The conference will center around a new theme, Building Bridges, and a new lineup of speakers.
About TEDx
Our Speakers
"Giving a TEDx talk was like nothing I’ve ever done before. The preparation kicked my butt—getting the message right, editing the talk (and then editing it some more), memorizing it, delivering it without falling all over myself. But it was all so worth it. It’s a great opportunity to get an important message out there, and you will stretch yourself in ways that will make you feel proud of what you accomplished."
—Michael Sadowski, Associate Dean of the College
